[What Films do you keep seeing over & over again...]

But...are NOT in your top 10 favorite films of all-time?

For eg- the films below i usually watch whenever theyre repeated, an tho i like them very much - I would 'never' put them in my top-10 best film list!

So as that sounds odd to me, i figured i'd ask here to see if anyone else has similar feelings for movies they keep re-seeing for no massively good reason...

thus...
my top-10 films i tend to repeatedly watch without 'any' being considered a top-10 favorite of mine are...

tweleve angry men, educating rita, carry on screaming, alfie [original], eraserhead, blue velvet, raging bull, platoon, duck soup, cube.

[...as in no apparent order, as i normally wouldnt care about them enough to 'rate' them]

Note to bbc-tv, ch4 an itv etc - stop showing the above damn films so i can get to bed earlier - thank you :)

Yes it does look scary when you list them all out.
This is an old list that needs updating

as for the latter items...
die hard 3 was surely shit, as do many people say?
+ what this 'Best of British' mentioning - for i thought that was a documentry about british actors like patrick stewart etc.
an why not also say 'Voyager seasons 5, 6, &7'?
or was 'seven of nine' too hot for you

Funny how some movies I can watch over and over again. Yet other films that I have enjoyed immensely I have no desire to watch a second time.

Favourite repeat performances include:

Lord of the Rings (1, 2 & 3).
Where Eagles Dare.
12 Angry Men.
A Bridge Too Far.
For a Few Dollars More.
Das Boot.
Ice Cold In Alex.
The Ladykillers (Ealing Studios).
The Day of the Jackal.
The Battle of Britain.
Plus any old Will Hay film
And most of Laurel and Hardy movies too.

i always watch the old BW British war movies. they remind me of being a young boy, whenever i had a day off sick from primary school, one would be on in the afternoon, it would start just as my mum was bringing me in some soup or lucozade.. very nostalgic, warm feeling happening right now

'reach for the skies' one of the best of the bunch, just for the lovely quote of the lorry driver who has just been run off the road by bader and chums.. "whats your name? death!"

I don't remember that quote. Sure you're not muddling Bader up with Mad Max?

Or he'd yell something in Polish if most of the lorry drivers I see are anything to go by.

Thus affording Bader the opportunity to yell "Silence! In Polish!"
