Iwan Thomas has been 'put on the bench' and needs your help. To ensure that he stays in The Match, please vote for him.
Not only does he own a Tuscan but he's a very big TVR fan. He needs your vote!

From Sunday, 2nd October to Friday, 7th October, you have the chance to SAVE two of three players who will go onto the bench every night.
The player with the lowest number of votes at the end of each vote will be dropped from the squad that night.
Watch the show to see which three celebrities are chosen by the Manager to go on the bench and then cast your vote by calling, texting or digital satellite viewers can press the red button.
Every night one player will be dropped from the squad until the celebrity team has been honed to the 16 best players... and they will face the Legends Team in the final match on Sunday, 9 October.

Iwan Thomas is a deluded 'athlete' who while still holding the 400m record could only finish third in the Welsh trials for the Commowealths next year.
Understandably, he's looking for some kind of career after the track and while Celebrity Wrestling and The Match are going to put his name in front of thousands (
) of viewers, attempting to emulate some bloke from Cold Play was just plain embarassing.
Wipe off the greasepaint Iwan, get down the track and get down ot some serious training mate!

ok and the day you can match his pace you can have my respect.... he is too old to compete these days and the 400m is almost certainly one of the most physically demanding track events there is. He has also suffered from some pretty nasty injuries in the last three years. He was probably last at his best in 2002 at the commonwealth games. As for the welsh trials jibe, well there is a fair bit of talent in Welsh 400m races, Matt Elias, Jamie Baulch to name two....

Agreed. I think the fact that he's not down 'the track doing some serious training' is because years of doing exactly that has knackered his body.
As someone who has raced the guy in question over one lap (and got thoroughly thrashed by him, though he is a few years older than me - well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it), I can safely say he's one of the more talented athletes this country has produced in recent times

Car is certainly not to my taste, but then does not appear to be his car as he has a Tuscan so must be on loan.
