Seriously though nice message, but it gets earlier every year. I love Christmas but starting it too early seem to spread the butter too thin.

Christmas being a christian festival, surely it actually starts on the 25th? Dunno about the decorations, but surely they should at least wait until advent? A fool and his money are easily parted, imo.

Well i spotted my first of the year yesterday...........Nov 16th and they had their decorations up and lights out the front of their house all flashing ............ it's only the MIDDLE of NOVEMBER....does this mean they wont take them down untill the middle of February

I was doing fieldwork for my uni course (Geology), from the 31st Oct - 4th and the bar at the place we were staying had all its christmas decorations up. Totally cringeworthy and tasteless one too. Its utterly stupid how early it all starts, I agree that a fairly short short and sweet christmas is the way to go.
