Does anyone know when or if this watch is released yet and what the RRP is? I was going to get the Navitimer this year but I've just changed my mind.....mmmm

Black bezel - give it 3 years and you'll regret the orange.

I agree with that. I think they're great looking watches, I do prefer the metal strap however...

if you buy the orange, find out how much a black bezel would be to purchase seprarately. Any competant watch maker could switch them over. You'd still be left with the orange numbers on the dial though.

The black one has those too anyhow though.

For the record - buy the black one. Much better.

I'd go Orange, but then it all boils down to personal taste (or lack of ) depends whether it's your only watch, there is going to be times when the orange is going to look a little too brash.
If your having to ask the opinion of others I'd say it wasn't for you, I'm surprised no ones mentioned a completly different watch you should be looking at instead.......mmmm Green bezel Rolex Submariner... mmmmm

Black.
But I'd go for this one:

Just love it...

Or if Omega is a must, then this one:

First watch on the moon...

Yep - got one of those in my collection with the rare hesalite crystal back. Fabulous watch and reasonably priced. The Appollo 11 anniversary version with the white face is also rather nice, as is the Earth Moon Mars Limited Edition.

Might treat myself to a PLanet Ocean though - has to be with the SS strap and the Orange Bezel (full size).

the pilot automatic chronograph is only £2350 retatil, though available for less obviously

See the floodgates are open now, everyones got an alternative

Personally I'm not keen on all the TAG 'copy' sorry 're-issue' stuff, and when you think you can get hold of an 'original' 1970's model for £1500-£2000 it's no contest

I'd say go for the orange - the black one is nice enough, but nothing special in my eyes.

Not a fan of the Monaco, personally. I've got a Carrera 40th anniversary, which I like, and just recently got a Panerai Luminor Marina which I'm very chuffed with indeed.

A Heuer Carrera was the watch that got my 'collection' rolling, paid £175 for it about 10 years ago, and still love it.

If I could manage to stop spending money on the necessities I really fancy a Luminor, I guess I'm just a big watch junkie
