Hi all,

Myself and Mrs. versteer have recently had a lovely baby son. So far so good. Now, as our respecitve families are not in this country, we need to stick lots of photos on the web so they can adore him from afar.

Until now, this has involved lots of messing about in Photoshop to resize etc., manually constructing webpages and thumbnails, and then uploading said page and the images. Needless to say this is a bit of a faff.

So, what I'm after is a recommendation of one or two of the photo album websites that are out there. Anyone use them on a regular basis? I don't mind if it costs a few quid, but free would of course be great.

Thanks very much in advance as always.

photobucket.com

I also think you can buy extra space, they also give you extra space after every order you make on photos/gifts

yes has batch uploading as standard, and automatically resizes pictures as they are being uploaded to 800x600. Easy to edit picture parameters once uploaded as well.

www.photobox.co.uk is quite good as they will also print any pics you want and send them out.

Awwww... I use the site for all the stuff I post on PH, just for the gifts and printing of photos I use photobox, which is also handy for sharing with other people

I'll vote for Flickr too, so easy to use and the security is good too so you can just set family only, friends & family or public viewing.

I made a big mistake earlier when uploading - I thought I'd set them all to batch upload as family only when they uploaded with just the first one as family and the rest as public - people certainly bloody view them fast!!!!!

Seconded. They currenly hold several thousand photos of our little boy. Their printing sevice is pretty cheap, very efficient and the quality is superb.

I think The Gadget Show gave it good marks for printing.
