The Police only have about 63 million potential suspects, then.

Does this piece of news mean that the Govt are trying to hide something else?

I kind of feel sorry for the woman, and everything, but at what point is it not okay to be "just following orders"?

i'd say whoever sent a bomb in the post to maim a random secretary/postman is no better than any terrorist, however much you disagree with the con charge

If no SERIOUS damage was done, does that mean that it didn't go off properly or does it mean someome sent it purely as a "look, we COULD do it" to the CC office!?

As much as I hate the CC, thats totally out of order. I hope they catch the person responsible and lock him/her up.

Mind you, that person may have lost their car/home to Red Ken's incompetance. I've heard tales of people being charged for using the CZ when they weren't even there at the time, and then being fined massively for not following the grievance procedure to the letter.

Why would it necessarily have anything to do with the Congestion Charge?

You reap what you sow - it's not fair on the individual who opened the letter, but if you work for a company who carries out such unpopular activities then you must be cautious.

People who send letter bombs usually have a motive!

When it involves running a concentration camp?

Operating the admin of the (legal) congestion charge is not exactly grounds for blowing her up?!? Are you out of your mind?!? Does that suddenly make anyone in any form of law enforcement fair game? BiB because you don't like them enforcing the law? Traffic Wardens because you don't like them enforcing the law? Post office staff? The list is endless?

Sure, and that makes her fair game to be blown up? You are out of your mind.

Indeed. Congestion charging has been one Crapita's more successful implementations. Could be someone who lost a job because of the Criminal Records Bureau fcensoredkup. Infact since Crapita probably run at least 1/4 of the Government's business processes it could be from lots of annoyed people. Hardly surprising since on current form I wouldn't trust them to run a piss up in a brewery.

I thought Capita were also involved in off-shoring various jobs to the sub-continent aswell? Could be anybody from any call centre in the country that has been shutdown because of their work.

No, they'll just introduce a Letter Bomb Tax.

BS. Some people will work sorting mail because its the only job they can get. We can't all choose to work for certain companies, most of us in the real world have this little problem called living expenses.
