I know there are lots of techies out there in PH land and I'm keen to find one that would like to work on the site full time (rather than just reading it on someone else's time )

If you think you might be that person and have the necessary development skills and experience (I'll let you guess what they are) then please mail me and we can discuss further...

i'd also love to but my database experience extends to MS access and not much further so i'd be more of an apprentice...

Sounds like an ideal job, but I think many people (inc myself) would have already put themselves out of the running by the amount of time they spend on PistonHeads!

Sigh - I knew I should have taken that web site job instead of moving in to storage 7 years ago

I have basic MS Word skills and once completed Jet Set Willy.

I feel I may therefore be over-qualified for the position...

Ted,

On a serious note. I have connections in IT recruitment. I'm sure one of my buddies will do you a good deal if you don't come up trumps. They do a lot of recruitment for thales and Logica... who both have projects within the automotive sector so I'm sure there'll be some car nuts with the right skillset.

If you need me send me an email.

I'm absolutely not, in any shape or form, on commission... possibly hehe

I'm assuming IIS, ASP tied in to a (shakes 8 ball) MsSQL backend? Probably running on... 2k or 2k3 as not to many people are insane enough to run Apache and mod_asp hehe

Server side... I'm up for.
Can't code for toffee.... so I'm, as the dragons would say, out.
