Actually, thats not such a bad idea. Its to allow cyclists to turn right in safety.

Although personally I'd just block the entire lane and wait for a gap.

Oh, yeah. "Cyclist trying to turn right - PASS HIM, PASS HIM" Have once or twice chased cars for doing that paperbag Mind you it is amusing when they spot me chasing them and shit themselves hehe I can't see myself as looking that frightening, but they somehow do...

Doom does one really need some white and green paint to tell them where and when they may deviate ever so slighlty, in full safety to/from the road? just how many cyclists could actual pedal so slowly as to stay in the curved path, and stay on their bike?! note entrance from either side onto central island, but no exit.... anal cycle path dictator comes apart... else the line markers got fed up of painting the piss take!

So no one else was reminded of an off the wall kids TV (young adult crossover) with a croc living in the sewers? just me then........

Actually looks like the system they have in Europe in alot of places for cars to turn across a road.

Well there are a few people on here who can testify that I am not exactly scary looking...

And a kid in Tesco today said I looked like Father Christmas... "He's Father Christmas, he's got a beard."

Well, I suppose if you saw Father Christmas throwing a wobbler you might get a bit freaked out... maybe it does make some kind of sense...

Proof, all city planners did far too many hard drugs in the 60's...
