Help please from those slightly more domesticated than myself....

Last night I cooked a spaghetti bolognese lick WIth the intention of eating the second installment tonight, because it was still hot when I put it in the casserole dish I left it on the worktop, unfortunately due to being a plonker I left it out on the worktop all last night and all day today...

Question is... am I likely to die if I microwave it now and eat it or will it have some kind of nasty lurgi and be worth chucking away?

Over to culinaryheads - pie/food matters biggrin

My student brother does this all the time and he's still very much alive.... all be it as facking mad as a box of frogs, but I don't think that's anything to do with left-out-of-fridge bolognese.

Humans survived for thousands of years without the aid of internet forums by using the senses available to them.

Simple rule: If it smells off, don't eat it.

Yep, nuke it in the microwave until its so hot it'll burn your tongue. That way you'll be so distracted that you'll forgot about what rotting food you've just reheated.

Actually I would have thought all your issues were very clean after all that.

You eat the same thing two days running?
Weird.
Freezers were invented to sort this.

I eat the same thing every day, saves hassle.

Why is it not weird to always eat the same thing for breakfast but not for other meals?

My house mates used to pass out with kebabs still wrapped up next to them in bed. 3 mins @ 800W in a microwave and breakfast was severed.

I am sure spag bol will be fine, just make sure that it is hot!
