"Football heroes". Oxymoron me thinks, particularly at this time of year when our thoughts are more towards peoples contribution to our way of life & indeed very existance. Somewhat more relevant than kicking a ball around a grassed field ?

I think Mr Robbo's comment could be construed quite appropriately as something of an own goal!
