I just found out that the UK number 1 single in the week of my birth was the highly appropriate "Wonder of You", by Elvis Presley.

Amusingly, and possibly even more appropriately, my sister (the only ginger in the family) was born to the sweet tones of Benny Hill's "Ernie - The Fastest Milkman in the West"! laugh

So who has the best track for their birthday? Or the most embarrassing? Click here to find out. Unless you were born before November 14th 1952. In which case, you'll have to google for "sheet music sales"! wink

Flying Pickets - Only You

Not brilliant but given the standard of the average '80s number 1 (the average number one, come to think of it) I don't get off too badly.

Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger. Which is okay in a kind of early 1980s power pop sort of way.

Steve 'Silk' Hurley - Jack Your Body

Never heard of him, apparently the first US 'house music' to make it to UK number one.
