Novice PH lesson
Discussion
PH started in 1967. It was invented before the internet and was available to only a select band of people.
Back in the glory days, the site was that good that it actually sent you money by paypal everytime you logged on.
Ted is still going strong but retired on his earnings and now lives in cleethorpes with a poodle and spends his cash on narcotics and lapdancers.
The first official hoon was in 1969. It started in Folkstone and stretched as far a field as Maidstone and Hythe. It took 7 weeks to complete and was hailed a success, earning Ted the freedom of Kent.

IIRC
It started with the S Files, a site dedicated to the TVR S, I used to visit it when I had my S about 13 years ago.
Then there was Petrolheads which only ran for a fairly short time.
Then there was PH which I joined soon after it started,9 years ago ish.(I accidentally zeroed my membership time a few years ago)

I remember, before the internet became commonplace in the home, I used to receive a monthly newsletter through the post, summarising everything that had happened in PH land. The forums only really took off in 1996 - and that was mainly scientists and researchers with access to laboratory computers.

Did about 170 miles last year.
Not much has changed really
Just greater numbers of people
You still have a small amount pathetic pedantic people
You have a very large group of really cool people
You have some very bitter / angry people
You still have some very depressed and needy people
And you still have Rich123980153598235 and his personality disorder.
These are all constants, always have been and always will be

Important information is missing from this:
If you find a TVR Sagaris or similar dumped in a field that you own, you must tell us about it on PH. Also at this time, introduce your wife and son to the forum and indulge us in your exotic car stories.... Then suddenly pass away when people actually want to see your car, get your son banned from the forum and then your Mrs to be found out to be you all the time.....
Note, if you've not been here for more than 4 years, the above won't make any sense... if you have

there's so much more to this one, i mean not even a mention of flasher and mungo, lightweight T350s, Jigs, matchless, the winged horse of chav tat, RAF doug, Karen 182, Carzee, cadence clutching, making overtaking noises in your head while walking down the street past slow people, that guy with the 944 (what was his name?)...
come on people...
