A female friend of myn is leaving just after christmas to go and live with her parents at the other end of the country. She means alot to me and i care for her greatly. I want to give her a piece of Jewelery when she goes but being a bloke have no idea what to give!!

Help!! The Budget is about £100.

The item must say 'I love you' but in a friendship way not anymore, becuase although we have ended up in bed together it aint like that!

I know she does rings, she has a couple, one being her wedding ring, but i suspect that might come off soon (she is divorceing)

A ring is good, but which ones go on whcih fingers?

I can check which fingers have rings on next time i see her.

She's not flashy and is a casual lady rather than smart. Subtle is the word i think.

Which finger does an friendship ring go on?

Right, I've settled for this, due to the fact that too many cock ups can be made with Jewelery!!

What do you think?

Please remember that the girl in question is a Squaddies ex wife from Essex, and not a lady from Surrey

I think you originally stated £100 at the start of the thread. What have you spent the other £80.00 on? Rohypnol?

I did, but this is more of just a birthday present than a going away present..
