Had the great displeasure of seeing the following film last night
Eden Lake

Based in the midlands, sounds like Nottingham.
Basic plot:
Nice middle class couple spend the weekend at an idylic disused quarry.
Said couple get harrased by a bunch of hardcore chavs.
Cue one of the most horrificly violent films I've ever witnessed in a long, long time. It's not a great peice of film making but does provoke genuine emotion i.e. repulse and disgust
It's so bad it's worth watching.

I've seen it too. I thought it was ok actually but the victims are far too stupid. Basically every decision they made had me thinking - wtf are you doing you morons?
hehe. Us too. Much of 90min was spent shouting at the screen telling the dozy bint how much of a useless tw@t she was and that she deverved to die horribly.It's $hit yes but worth watching as it's kind of unique. There aren't many gruesome slasher pics about based in a quarry in the midlands infested with murderous chavs.
First date material for sure
