New Herbie film

Personally I hate Herbie and would quite happily see it crushed but I know there are fans on here and it is a car related film so ill add the link

Maggie Peyton (Lindsay Lohan), the first Peyton to graduate from college receives a graduation present from her dad (Michael Keaton) and as she's about to get a 250Z, she instead receives a Volkswagon Bug (Herbie) and Herbie takes over all of Maggie's driving. After having her best friend Kevin (Justin Long) restore Herbie, she goes to the car show and beats all-time racer Trip Murphy (Matt Dillon) and he demands a rematch, Trip attempts to discover the secret behind Herbie. After losing a big race to Trip because of Herbie's stubborness, Maggie enters the Daytona 500 and who knows, will Herbie win?

He's on BBC1 right now, and the 1997 remake is on 5 tonight. Of course the real Herbie retired to the UK and now lives with minimax.

Saw the trailer to this at the cinema last week and it looks like you will get what you pay for.......at least they used an old Beetle not a new one.

yep (apparently because its a 'family movie' - obviously single mother families), so no reason to go and see it them...

Whats the size of her breasts got to do with it being a family movie. Do they think mothers with large breast should have them reduced.

ah, it's only a true representaion of a minimax car if it breaks down at some point during the film

sooo much for reliability!

I had a quick look at the '97 remake on tv last night and it looked bl00dt awful, I hope this one is better otherwise I may as well re enact the scenes from the movie around nottingham with a mate and a digicam
