Any one going to Angouleme 15-17 Sept?

I live just outside Perigueux ( 60 mins drive to Angouleme @ the speed limit) and I hope to go Friday and Sunday. Meet up for lunch and or drive up in convoy?

Looks like i'll be heading off to Angouleme on the Sunday (17th) setting off from Bergerac. Anyone else going that day? I will hopefully be in my Black Alfa 155 Q4 or failing that a green Range Rover.
On the 16th I'll hopefully be watching this http://rallycross.free.fr/ at Bergerac-Faux. Went last year and it was great, until the heavens opened. Loads of ex-WRC cars and 1 or 2 205 T16's

Saturday is the Rally and Concourse. In Angouleme you will only see the cars participating in the rally when they finish in the market place around 4pm. You can catch them en-route around the vineyards, the route is published in the local paper and all the locals sit out on the street to cheer and wave us through.
Race day is on Sunday - this is the best day for a spectator. The Bugatti's are quite spectacular + Phil Hooper usually comes up to race in his TVR.
Not sure where is the best place to park as quite a few streets are blocked off to form the circuit.
Depending upon which level of pass you purchase you can get full access to the pits.
It is a fabulous weekend. - hope you enjoy it.

Hi to all the PH francais. Well, I don't know about you lot but 72 seemed the Department for me!
Just spotted this Franglais secton of PH. We have a place also in 72 (where else!) and will be moving out permanently next summer Quite a few PH'ers drop into our place during the 24 heures, so feel welcome next June.
Anyone any tips on decent indies in 16, 17, 33 or 24? M5 showing clutch issues and don't really want to take it to a dealer.... the one on the Rocade in Bordeaux is crap... the one in Angouleme seems alright but based on the reception I got, they don't see too many E34 M5's so wouldn't know how intuitive they are!
