Looks cleaner than mine, even with its snowy topping.

My 2004 model 9-5 Aero Saloon in 'Hazelnut' with Beige leather trim & the silver dash trim. 2004 was a funny year spec-wise for the 9-5 Aero, so I have one electric seat, heated front seats only, AS2 stereo (although now upgraded to AS3), ALU52 alloys (my favourites) and Xenons. No auto wipers, no folding mirrors, no sunroof (rare anyhow).
It's a manual, and Noobtune Stage 1 (so putting out about 275bhp). It has some Samco vacuum hoses, and currently sits on some winter tyres, which kept me mobile for the last 2 weeks.

Love it!

Did the black rubbing strips have to be 'de-textured'? and do they all come off and go back on reasonably easy?...... I am thinking of having mine painted (although gloss black)

Also, how do you find the ride on the 18" wheels? I am also thinking of changing to 18" wheels but maintaining the factory sport suspension.

Thanks....

i got a lad to paint them for me and he didnt report any issues, he only charged me £40 to paint the strips silver and the rear diffuser black, i,ll ask him at the weekend ,

the wheels are 19,s btw running on maptun lowering springs and Bilstein B8 shocks and i find it a completely acceptable ride, obviously harder than standard and potholes are to be avoided but the cornering speed makes up for the harsher ride

Just picked this up yesterday!

2.0T Aero 9-3 with 80k miles and will probably be getting remapped soon. Top down a couple of times yesterday and really enjoying it. Totally different drive from the 182 but in great shape.

My imminent arrival (when the DVLA send the V5 back to the dealer).....a 03 9-5 Vector tid estate in a rather unusual 'hue', 1 owner, FSH & 100k miles - bought for my new 100 mile a day round trip commute. The 9-5 will compliment my other leggy Swede, a V70T with 186k miles. I think the colour is great and different to leagues of silver ones out there and I'm excited at the prospect of my first Saab!! biggrin

Cheers tongue out

I made a very cheeky offer and we met in the middle! I would have been an absolute prat to turn the car down. Stonking value for money in my opinion.....plus the wife can't moan about not having enough space!

They look so nicer with the viggen kit on them. Rare and when they do come up they are a few hundred but so worth it IMO.

Who did the remap, Saabnoob?

Seeing it makes it miss my 9-3 even more frown

I do want a viggen kit, but for now just gonna get the front bumper and the spoiler painted to keep it nice and clean smile

I did the remap as it's still a T5 at this age....tbh it may be close to being one of the last T5 9-3's which would be nice in a way smile

Ah right yes, SaabNoob is a T7 man only IIRC.

How many miles? Has the sump been dropped recently?
