SeatCopra Cup was cancelled this week, it will now be called the Britcar SeatCup and will be run in the Britcar Production Championship 2009 starting at Donington on the first weekend of May. The Britcar rules will apply to the Seats, they will need a dry break systems, available from the Britcar office, along with the Powerlogger. John Broadman along with Emlyn Evans will supply parts, plus Dunlop will give on Circuit service/supply. It will give Mr. Nye's cars some value but will also have a large TV package give the teams exposure on Sky and Motors, the same as Britcar GT's.
The Seat will be a front running car in Britcar Productions, and the Championship gives Drivers a chance to show themselves off.

As for numbers I have just read in Autosport that there were 5 registrations, but interest from 11 parites for the Supercopa series so I guess anything upto 11 cars...plus the one that is already racing in Britcar.

That is true, I guess Class 2 will also get a boost from the Mk1 Leon contingent.

and don't forget.... this is Britcar, so when you get one you'll have to spend some significant wedge on making it faster!
