Details...

I added small diffusers behind the rear tires to keep the turbulant air directed away from the body..

Looks good Ronin! any reason for not having a steeps angle on the main difuser? looks to be plenty of room above it.

The center section angle is completely adjustable, it is set at Reverie's recommended 12* for now. The only way to know for sure if it needs changes is to have the car in a wind tunnel or have a super sensitive driver take it around the track at speeds I don't really care to travel..

A man has to know his limitations.. wink

Proof that this car was put together by drunkin ex sailors....

Last thing before powder coating the subframe and rollcage, mounting the new engine and gearbox coolers.

Got a date in mind for completion yet Frank? Or is it just a case of 'done when it's done'?

Loving the progress, really starting to take shape and look like a monster. Still wish you'd buy some shelves though biggrin

Not sure if it's been asked, have you got any plans for the gearbox? Idem to remember you had a bit of trouble with them before. Any decent upgrade sets out there that can stand the punishment?

As soon as all the bits are back from the powder coater and reassembled it will be done.. smile New seat pading and carpet for a finished look are in the works.
The gearbox is dialed in with a slightly modified Toyota E153 to take the torque.

That's my buddy Mikes's shop. Trust me I can't stand working there trying to find something through the rubble but he knows where everything is and we are so close to being done I'll just watch where I step a little longer..

Hah, was just a passing comment. Think it's only the chassis wiring, clams, wishbones and bottom end that's original on mine too, pretty much everything else has been swapped for something else over the years...

Just pretty amazing seeing the chassis with nothing at all attached to it, not even wiring.
