Exige V6 cost?

Apologies for the thread revival but I found this thread by accident but it seemed timily to post. Mainly because I now have an Exige V6 (below) and spent the day yesterday driving an M135i.
For a road car, the M135i is absolutely superb. With the autobox it's a quick car, certainly all you really need on the road. Driving around town it's comfortable, easy to drive and veey practical when it comes to filling the boot up. Out of town it's quick on the A roads and also competent on the B road twistes. It's a completely unassuming car (I drove a black one) and it flies under the radar which is great.
The Exige however is bright (well mine is), louder and a real focussed drivers car which makes it an event to drive every time. Through the country lanes, it can carry speed everywhere and is very well dampered over poor surfaces. Where the M135i hops about (even in sport mode) the Exige glides and grips. The M135i also rolls on corners in comparison. In other words I felt comfortable at speed in a straight line in the BMW up to a certain speed but in the corners I was having to brake and manage the car more. It didn't feel as settled. The Exige however carries more speed into the corners and is more composed at speed.
They're both completely different cars but if I'm honest, I'd have both. The M135i for day to day stuff and the Exige for fun
Nice thread. Nice re-visiting. No need to apologise. Nice Exige V6 in yellow tooFor a road car, the M135i is absolutely superb. Had the car for about 15 months now...used daily since new. Had a couple of niggles but quickly sorted. Done 3 European trips total about 25000 miles. Fuel about 25-27mpg...can do more if you drive sensibly! Servicing 9000 miles at about £400/time...good indy cheaper and better. Insurance reasonable.
Not bad on a motorway but can get noise at higher speeds...in its element on A and B roads. Still thoroughly enjoys it's pure instant responsiveness...ooh yes and it is quite quick!
