great reviews, £ for £ looks bloody cheap for what you get. first time you could say that about an exige for a long time.
and with that engine, day to day or euro jaunts made easy.... and the sound of that V6 with a few mods... lol.
i suspect those that can afford it look at it neutrally and will get it, alas those that cant will no doubt moan, moan, moan and be bitter ignoring all the positive independent comments and conveniently forget that they can still opt for the cheaper and lighter elise ....
what's new, this is england, this is a lotus forum
bravo...

The new Top Gear (print) magazine seems to have taken up the Euro jaunt challenge - and with that engine, day to day or euro jaunts made easy.... and the sound of that V6 with a few mods... lol.

Back across the Atlantic, and it's time to put the all-new Lotus Exige S to a proper test. Important and interesting, because in a bizarre reversal, just when the Viper has shed pounds, the Exige has gained them. Heresy? From pure-bred circuit star to track-biased GT with a smattering of road comforts, we take Hethel's finest on an exhaustive 1,500-mile European tour in search of the perfect road. The results might surprise you.
Just off to WH Smith for a read....

thanks for the info. sounds like i could do without the race setting as its all about the ultimate laptime. but from the dry footage iv seen i still think the car could do with an lsd
Also remember the suspension is optimised for the Trofeo tyres if you go with the Race Pack.Thorburn said:
Without the Race Pack you get Touring, Sport and Off.
Whether that means simply a different geo is used, or if they change the spring and damper rates I have no idea.
