I love the way the 2 eleven doesnt have any side intakes like an elise but how does the engine get air without them?
The bodywork is at an angle and has holes cut in it. I presume these are for the oil cooler and general air circulation etc?I presume that the radiator is mounted up front like with any Elise variant.
Do I not at least get an X Factor style public vote?
For all you know Gareth maybe a dear friend of mine and I may have been pulling his leg. But all you sanctimonious heroes obviously believe you have some superior rights to everyone else on this public messageboard.
So by all means get your little clique rolling into action.

To be fair Vale, your 3rd post was to say that you thought that an existing member on here's car made you want to vommit.
If, and it is a big if, your vommiting comment was in jest may I suggest in future that you perhaps use something along the lines of the following after your comment -

Lightening the tone a little, but staying on the subject of vomit, does anyone remember that guy on blatchat who took someone out a track day in his R400 and returned one lap later with vomit all over the passenger seat, bootlid etc The guy had lasted about 5 corners before barfing everywhere

Hi Rob,Isn't there a picture of that going around somewhere? I'm sure I remember seeing it?

I'm pretty sure that you are on here to wind people up judging by all four of your posts but there's more than a shred of truth in that statement ^^ It seems that any time someone says something controversial (VX220 anyone?) that some folk see fit to ask for bans which IMO is a bit like footballers waving imaginery cards at referees to get another player booked .Vale, post something a little more constructive please.
Back on topic, I think Gareth's SLR is lovely

Positive? Its a better colour for a bike.
But then a bike is better vehicle round Knockhill than a Lotus.

If you check the factory standard bikes here: http://www.msttiming.com/bsb/2007/72604stk.pdf they're running down to about 60 second laps in the dry.Factory standard Caterhams tend to run in the 50s: http://www.smart-timing.co.uk/Results%202007_files...
Then again, we're a bit off topic here, as timing isn't allowed on track days! It's what's more fun that counts

BSB Superstock, and Superstock Cup was definately not in the dry in 2007. That I can guarantee.
Superstock lap record is a 50.8 sec lap. Superbikes were 48's in practice.
They're not road standard though are they? Superstock bikes run slick tyres and a wet weight 15kg less than the factory list dry weight. You can't compare a race bike with a road car!Superstock lap record is a 50.8 sec lap. Superbikes were 48's in practice.
I went to quite some lengths there to quote times for similar spec cars and bikes - road tyres, minimal mods etc.

It's not so great when you're cartwheeling down Duffus Dip and back into the path of another vehicle...http://www.power-images.co.uk/gallerys/2007/knockhill/bike_racing/30-09-07/slides/30-09-07%20462.html
