Heaven, is a place called... Wales

Hello all!
I went on a little 'Welshy Run' yesterday and have to say that it was absolutely stunning!
It was organised by some of the South West guys from SELOC and took in some of the roads that were included on that Continental Tyres top 10 twisties thingy a while back. If anyone wants the route I still have it, but a load of road names & numbers etc doesn't make too great a read!
Anyway, including journey up, route & home again it was a 13 hour 450 mile round trip along what have to be some of the best roads anywhere... if not the best. I believe one or two had some previous experience of these roads so that knowledge obviously helped the pack to maintain very enthusiastic pace, which was quite a feeling (all at NSL naturally!) 13 cars did the bulk of the trip although we were up to 16 and maybe more for a while
The roads were pretty quiet and it all made for some fantastic sections interspersed with natural lulls and re-groups when 'obstacles' intervened. Simply beautiful weather too. Fair play to the guys who put it together (not sure if they post here too) a great job done there Fantastic scenery, great cars and incredible roads! It wasn't just the style of these roads, the quaity of the surface really stood out too - people around there are rather lucky
From my point of view, a little more than 2 hours sleep beforehand (work!) and less of a rubbish cold would have topped things off, but it was an amazing day without question
Could have only been further improved in one way... the presence of BoLOCs. Nothing against the people who were there of course - all nice guys & girls without question, but as even those who don't know can tell, the BoLOCs thing is a bit special. With the Bournemouth weekend planned for the end of July and of course the silly season approaching now, another run to the calendar isn't that practical, but I propose right here and now "An Indian Summer in Wales!" - a BoLOCs trip along similar route (1 day... 2 days... who knows yet?) in September when the grockel season is done and these roads will be a little less crammed. Definitely got to be done
Amazing scenery... all round

Oh no! The video wasn't my work - Elise_Matt from SELOC should get all the credit for that! Amazing though eh?
Stuart - Yeah, one more run mate... but if it goes as suggested, then you're gonna have to hold on until Sept/Oct to close the sale... which ain't no bad thing when you really stop and think about it..? But then again, I just gave a new guy the link to your car...
Cheers Rushie - I noticed your post on 'spotted' last night... exceptional taste I might add and welcome to PH!
Just - Yeah we gotta get that on mate... definitely. Been kinda missing ya fella... and 'the girls' haven't had a good old-fashioned lesbo-lust session since we landed 'em! Damned bloody crying shame about the BoLOC BoMo weekend... families eh..? (... exceptional taste I might add... again! )
