Mr H, I usually use the Meguiar´s NXT Tech Wax on the car body, are you saying it's ok to use this on the wheels too???

PS I usually wax it every couple of months is this ok???

Absolutely - what I do is take the wheel off, wash it front and back (I do this every time I Was the wheels but with it on the car; hurts your hand though) - but it's easier with the wheels off the car. Once the wheel is dry just use the NXT wax on the wheel exactly as you would the body work on your car (front AND back). Not only does it make them shine, but it helps to wash them in future.

Regarding the bodywork; it's difficult to say. Wax provides a protection, amongst other things, a layer between the clear coat and all the crap in the air. If your car stays outside in bright sun all the time, never garaged, with loads of miles then perhaps more often than that (1/month). If however you do 6k miles a year and it's garaged then every couple of months - even 10-12 weeks - will be fine.

thanks Tony, mine is usually either under an outdoor cover or inside a garage (depending on where I'm sleeping during the week ;-) )...so i think I'll stick to the every couple of months of waxing routine!!!

This is a joke meaning that if you are going to spend over 7k pounds on wax, you would also probably buy a country or microsoft.

Actually they also doe a 12k pot. The pot is awesome. It is a large prism and when you are ready to use the wax you put it in the sun and the light is defracted into the center of the wax to warm it before you use it.
