Insurance PLEASE HELP!!!

Test drove an Elise today and absolutely loved it. However, as soon as I started phoning round for insurance I realised that no one seems to do insurance for under 25's. I am 24 and only 8 months away! Does anyone have any recommendations of where to look. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was 24 when I got mine in January this year. I got insurance from Elephant for £800 including declaring the exhaust and induction kit installed on the car.

Add your parents on as named drivers which should decrease the quote dramatically.

Admiral and Elephant were good for me. I went with Admiral. I am 22, and my Girlfriend is 21 and is a named driver. She brought it down by 200quid, although she`s too short to drive it .

Do a search on this forum for "Insurance + Henry" and you'll come up with a bunch of numbers which one of our cohorts has been keeping upto date.

Adrian Flux maybe able to sort you something too. I strongly suggest joining SELOC (£28) which will give you 10-15% discount with some brokers and ins companies for being a member of a car club. On a big premium that can be a bit of a bonus.

I'm exactly your age, and just got a nearly new 111S (don't know what Elise you have so unsure if this helps or not).

I have 5yrs NCB, no points or anything, and pay £1200.
