Anyone know of a web site that contains the interior measurements of the S1 Elise?
I need to know things like:
a. Distance from floor to roof

With passenger seat all the way back...
b. Distance from dash to front edge of passenger seat
c. Distance from end of passenger foot well to front edge of passenger seat

Basically, I'm trying to work out whether my guitar case would fit in one. I really don't want to drive one, fall in love with it, only to realise that I really can't justify it.

Umm... You do know that the passenger seat in the Elise is fixed and bolted to the floor of the car, right?

I had a feeling that might well be the case. Bugger.

I also think you're probably right about the door opening being the biggest problem...and I don't fancy poncing around taking the roof off every time I need to put the guitar in!

Cheers,

Jim

I use the hard case because I found you get a lot of knocks when using a soft case, and I like to keep my guitar in top-top condition

The guitar is an Ibanez JS100, case dimensions are as follows:
Height: ~104cm
Width: ~38cm
Depth: ~11 cm
(Measurements are a bit approximate - only got a bloody 30cm ruler to hand!)

I could use the soft case I guess.
OK, if it will go in with either soft or hard case, would i really be pushing it to get a 100w 1x12 combo in the footwell too?
Dimensions:
Height: 50.8cm
Width: 29.4cm
Depth: 22.6cm
I think this is definitely a no-go!

I know it seems really stupid to base the decision of whether to buy an Elise on whether I can fit a guitar in it, but sadly I have no choice. I can't afford 2 cars, and I can't just give up playing either.

Thanks for you help guys. When I've decided whether I can really live with an Elise as my only car, I'll take the case down to the dealer and have a go at wedging it in!
