Too loud for my liking, I suspect that would get on your tits on a long run.
Pascal, I bet your glad to get your car back after all this time, 480 bhp and 400 torques is impressive, but, may I ask, how much ££ did this cost?

Surely 480 bhp is more than enough in a Tuscan? I can't see the chassis coping very well with 600bhp without major modification.

Fine if you live near Santa Pod but it's entirely likely it would be slower round a track with 600bhp than with 480. In mere mortals hands at least.

600 bhp and the corresponding amount of torque will spin 255 section tyres through all 5 gears surely. Tuscans aren't exactly heavy are they?

It's all getting a bit 'mine's faster than yours (in theory)' isn't it?

Very true, like a flight to New York is far smarter and more useful than a flight to the Moon but we still did it just because it was there and it had to be done. biggrin

All fair comments, but the man's paid a premium for this and he's entitled to have as much power as he wants! biggrin (Useable or not!)

Pascal (through Racing Green) has pushed the envelope of what we all thought was possible with the Speed6. I will hold my hands up and say I wondered if it would ever be up and running! But, fair play to all involved; a very nice job done. clap

Actually it copes very well with the power, it pulls really strong without spinning the wheels, except if you ask for it of course smile

The sound is really addictive, and you can still listen to the radio in the car smile Allthough I have to admit that I will put on some "track allowed" exhausts"...

I wasn't questioning the desire for supercharging a speed six. Or that a genuine 480bhp wasn't a great achievement in itself. It must be utterly ballistic with that and the chassis will have its work cut out for sure.

I was only wondering if 600bhp is a step too far?

Don't get me wrong, I've long been one of the 'too much power is just enough' brigade. I have a 200bhp motorcycle and a 250 bhp Caterham 7. But I also know you can ruin a car by overdoing the power. The bike is really there as my own personal roller coaster. The Seven is completely over the top for road use now but relative to its size and weight it has very big, very sticky tyres at the back. If I put the equivalent of my tuscan's tyres on the back of the seven it would be quite a handful.

That looks like some day out Pascal!

The car sounds great, and in a good environment for fun.
My next upgrade will have to be along that route.
Health to drive.

Chance would be great Pascal.... I was in UK albeit briefly in June and the time flew by never got to do/see half the things I wanted to. If in the future we do manage to get together for a compare it will have to be on legal ground.... you now know first hand how fast the car is.... awesome isn't it wobble
Sadly I have to wait till I get back home before I can listen to your sound files... The IT nags at work DNS restrict everything of any fun.

I am so pleased you have gotten where you are, tops to RG for coming through.

It's going back to Racing Green in September for the real big power Graham... For now it's running on low boost, going to put some miles on it, then unleash the beast in full smile

OK... Me missing 3rd as I overtook the Beemer (around 4:10), but gives you a good idea about the power.
