Well I've got my DDpai Mini 2 all hardwired in and working a treat, I can view footage via the app when connected to the camera with wifi, but I can't for the life of me work out how to save a video to my phone/app?
I went to the download bit and sat through a 5 minute video while it said it downloaded, but then there is nothing showing in the gallery section of the app or my phone.
Any ideas?!

If it's anything like my Thinkware....I went to the download bit and sat through a 5 minute video while it said it downloaded, but then there is nothing showing in the gallery section of the app or my phone.

Connect phone to camera via WiFi and download the clip to the app.
Go to the download section of the app, select clip and export to phone album, you don't need to be connected to WiFi for this bit.

I posted a couple of months ago how I was having problems with my 0806. It kept rebooting. This is down to the internal battery failing.
Also, I had a fatal accident happen right in front of it and the damn thing didn't record. I found out later that it did record but didn't save it when the power was shut off. This was because of the internal battery failure.
Found this page here:

which explains how to replace the battery. Bought a battery from ebay and set about doing this. When I opened the unit to get the old battery out, it was under a lot of pressure and popped open really easily.
I'm not surprised when you look what has happened to the old battery, it has swollen up! The photo shows the new battery and the old battery side by side.
Fitted the new battery, put it all back to together and now it works fine again!

Not majorly impressed with the A118C so far, from Spytec so it should be legit.
Very slight high pitched noise from the mic.
Tried the video in 720 60 which was smooth but struggled to pick up a reg plate a few metres in front.
1080p improved it a lot, but still the image quality isn't amazing.
Though I am viewing my own video from a 720p chit chromebook panel so that probably doesnt help, youtube footage of the camera looks better however.
I have a 250 mile trip tomorrow so ill probably test it out.

No I mean it looks worse than youtube videos.
I'll do more tests, all i did was drive around the village once, so ill do the journey and refund it if its not up to scratch, good thing about Amazon.
Maybe get the A119 but there are so many copies out there its impossible to know you're getting the original product.

Hasn't still got the protective plastic film on the lens has it, wouldn't be the first time
No lol took that off. Reading online it seems 720p mode is just scaled, and not legit 720.Ill have a go tomorrow and upload a video, might help someone looking for a cheap 'it will do' camera, which was all i wanted really.

They are quite happy to replace them though. I did suffer form it initially, but since I took it off the cradle and replaced it (to get card out) they've stopped rattling. It's only quiet when driving if you get it (but depends if car rattles wind you up or not) but can be really quite loud on the audio. Again, can turn audio off if you want.
