@Reg – How about doing a video for drivers about how to overtake cyclists?
Yes, I know, you’ve already covered overtaking in previous videos. However, the cycling community might promote a concise video on tips for overtaking cyclists. Maybe a YouTube Short on 3-stage overtaking tips?
Many drivers appear unconfident about being offside (not realising when it’s safer, such as part of a 3-stage overtake, compared to passing a cyclist too close). Overtaking is hardly taught for the L-test, and, as a cyclist, I would feel far safer if more drivers were aware of 3-stage overtaking as a tool in their driving toolkit. I realise it’s not the only overtaking technique, but 3-stage overtaking awareness could help reduce the odd close pass.
