Owning a toy and model shop has its benefits.

Without backtracking through all the previous pages of this post I thought I would post a pic of my newly built Concorde.

This kit has to be one of the best ones I have built. Loads of great design and nice features too.

It just fitted in my display cabinet and that’s big. biggrin

Ahh yes, that's true. Mine are on preorder - I wonder what GWP they'll send through as it was the valentine's one when I ordered it...

My colleague whipped this one up! Looking forward to seeing the big Technic Merc later, as another person had that project for the night!

I'm planning on Concorde next, absolutely love it.

It looks like it would make a fantastic display piece.. saw both of these on FB

Yes, it’s certainly a talking point when people come round.

I picked up the Mustang Speed champions car yesterday smile it looks pretty smart, not that I've built it yet ...

I went to the Bricktastic show in Manchester today, and managed not to buy myself anything, but do fancy looking at some of the motor/gears etc to make a "Great Ball Contraption" Rube Goldberg-type machine to pass small balls along a loop.

The balls themselves can be pretty expensive.

There seem to be a few third-party options now. I have got a week off at the end of next month, so am going to get some parts together and build some then with my boys.

Tons of people on FB are posting pics of the new cars, Morrisons seems to one place selling them already

Its carnage - online retailers are heavily monitored where bricks and mortar stores (often the large retailers) shag the whole system.

We've sent a lot of stuff out today, with the remaining pre-orders leaving tomorrow. This is more a case of spreading the load with our warehouse operation and couriers as its not a busy time of year and thus do not have surplus staff and collections.

But yes, orders will start arriving over the next couple days.

Not happy with jumping on our wedding cake back in September last year, we discovered them trying to ruin our little long weekend break!

They enjoyed the sunset

And the food

And the architecture

They didn’t get to Pompeii. Probably too hungover. Not surprised. The pissheads always have a glass in their hand!
