YES I've just looked at both with bodies off to check.

make sure you buy the COMPLETE body...ie all the chrome bits are separate as is the window plastics

seeing as this is turning into the lunchbox appreciation society i've dug out my old lunchbox. It was put away over 5 years ago with a problem with the gearbox nd no drive.

so i removed the gearbox - and it turns out it was just a loose motor mount. i had to take most of the chassis to bits to tighten two screws! oh, and a rear axel spring is broken. ffs

still, at least i had help

gearbox fixed, but bad news, my batteries are well and truly dead. frown

Love the Clod coming out again - I've got mine with twin Sport Tuned motors for a bit more oomph. Still looking for a twin brushless that doesn't break the bank, that would be a hoot.

As for VLB -> MP. Why? The Lunchbox is FAR better looking biggrin

Please open the psu and put a couple of posts or banana females on the casing. That is a nightmare waiting to happen.

Loving my retro Tamiyas. Clodbuster and Brat both back up and running smile

It's a work in progress. The psu is meant to be going into a custom built hdd enclosure to house 9 hdd for backup. I've just tested that it works with the charger.

Ill get a cheap as chips one to mutilate for charging. Or I'll get a quiet one for the enclosure and mutilate this one for charging

Anyone know of RELIABLE online shop for Traxxas spares please?

I'm on holiday this week and have tried two big model shops up here (ahead of getting on the ferry later) no one carries the part i'm after, not even any uk sellers on ebay. Lsited only on American and HongKong locations.

If anyone can help please it is Traxxas part number 3793. Circa £2.50....frustrating.com

Sorry, not aware of any Traxxas suppliers in the UK frown I don't even know who the distributor is for Traxxas?

My scale minigun turned up yesterday for my Apocolypse project. The temptation to get the dremel out and make the barrel rotate with a small motor is strong!

Lots of work to do yet!

I found that, but he did say RELIABLE. Site doesn't look great.
