I think lego would be mad to not go ahead with the 911. It should be a massive seller.

Don't think there's any doubt as to whether it will be released, pretty sure it's been formally announced as a 2H 2016 release.

Yes it will be released I have lots of official paperwork with it included, the question is who will they let have it! At the moment its down for all independents but my account manager said this could change - but Im confident it will be ok.

Out of interest, and no other reason at all, how does that stack up with "normal" online ordering quantities? Would a PH group buy create a particularly busy period for you?

Not really. On the day it's all packed there will obviously be more larger technic sets going out than a usual August day but on busy days we can sell several thousand LEGO sets. I will probably have to arrange another DPD van just to collect the PH stuff. But to give you an idea today we had a replen delivery of LEGO which was 40 pallets, so whilst there are a lot of PH'ers after these sets our LEGO guys are used to dealing with some fairly big quantities.

As far as the Porsche and the rest of the August launches go, it will be a big launch. You could buy a decent house for the value of the order...LEGO is big business even for an indie like us.
