SMRC Gallardo

Always wanted a Superleggera but want something different from the norm.

Car was bought brand new and later on that day it was at a trackday, A week later it was lined up on the grid in the SMRC Sports and Saloons race.

All work done again by Mike at www.myfinishline.fr

Thanks for the comments,
Once it is polished again,it looks even better!
Only problem, copper does not hold its polish verry long,
Could you coat it with a laquer to preserve the shine? Just thinking out loud really
You could chrome plate it.
Nooo! The beauty is in the materials as well as the exceptional execution.....let the oxidisation have it's way, lacquered brass and copper look so, well, 70s....... you know, like those light switch and plug socket plates that hopefully won't come back in to fashion for decades...

You could easily make a side-line by selling these as pieces of art. I've seen a lot of stuff like this at events like Goodwood.

They look very cool - are they kits or pre-made?

Very nice collection.

What's the middle one behind the Enzo and where did you get it from if I may ask.

Hot wheels Elite, but good luck finding one and if one does come up on the bay you have to bid high these days.

Finished this prototype of Victory at last - about a year's full time work - just waiting for the figurehead. Scale is 1:64th and is fully detailed inside as well as out. (We can now start renovating our rooms!)

Sorry mate, you are going to have to start again from scratch.

The size and font of the 'Victory' writing on the transom are different on the actual ship.

Oh well, I suppose you did your best.

I think this is probably it in it's pre Battle of Trafalgar state before the lettering was re-painted in 1806.

Funny you should say that - I have included no less than three options for the lettering as sources conflict..

We are taking this model to Italy, in a van - we set off Sunday morning at 2, and it's supposed to be the storm of the century! yikes
