It will charge you the £2.99. After clicking proceed in Paypal it will take you back to the site where you choose your shipping method. Then it will process the order with the shipping charge included. Its not very clear and Paypal are aware of the issue - but they dont really want to do anything about it...

Im pretty sure it will charge you the £2.99 when you get back to the website. Just give it a go..... Paypal are aware of the issue but dont really want to do anything about it for me....

Yes thats 3DS (3D Secure). All payments on our website are handled by Paypal. We have to have the authorisation system (Its called 3DS or 3D secure). Ultimately our payment gateway (Paypal) decides whether to use verification, so sometimes it does hang a little bit whilst it makes up its mind. To be fair the checkout system on the website is crap and it all needs overhauling - its on the list, but its a mammoth job.
