RC Car - to build

I am interested in getting a RC Car, definately off-road.

But I do not want an RTR one, anyone got any recommendations on cars that need to be built?

yes, that looks interesting - what is the build time any idea?

done quite a few Tamiya electric models over the years - fancy trying a petrol.

nearly tried a Kyosho MP3 a couple of years ago but was put off by the price (about £750! - kit only) - don't think they are around now?

yes I understand the difference - the 1/5th scale sounds pretty impressive!

do you know if anyone produces a model for something similar to rock-climbing they do with full size offroaders?

those look pretty good - some of the conversions sound like a good project to take on.
