Having a clearout and came across this lot.

Are they for the bin / E bay / free to good home ?

A mix of Heller, Frog, Revell, Airfix, Humbrol, Monogram and Linberg.

Blimey!

Where did I put that tube of glue?
I quite fancy having a play on one or two of the worthless models myself. There is a loft full of huge ships from the same era too

I´d have the 1/72 Revell ones off you! How much would you want? Purely for nostalgia, not resale of course.

Cheers,

I'll send you the Revell kits , P51D and PZL P -11c and you can pop a donation in to the air ambulance.

Eric , same applies, send me your address and make a donation to the air ambulance.

Thanks for the E mail dr. I will be posting out this week.

I've not decided which kit I'm going to tackle yet, preferably something I've worked on in the past. So after perusing the Scale Model section of this forum hopefully I will be less likely to make a complete hash up. biggrin

Some of the items you have there are quite desirable.

Those 1/72 Monogram kits are very good - even though they were first issued back in the 1960s. The Bearcat is a very nice model and goes together really well.

The old Revell kits are a bit variable. For example, the Revell P-51D is now very long in the tooth and would be more likely to appeal to someone who collects old kits rather than builds them
Thanks for the info. Eric. I shall have another rummage in the loft and hopefully find an aircraft I am more familiar with.

Sorry for the delay, kits are finally on their way.

Dr gn , one of your kits has many pieces missing. I shall endeavour to locate missing parts.

Once I've finished searching the loft I will be placing an ad. in Pistonheads classifieds. Two more interesting additions.....a Kawashini H6k5 by Hasegawa, and a ME 323 D1 Gigant by Italeri.

As Pistonheads is not an auction , can someone suggest a sensible asking price for the lot ?

Thanks for all the gen. on the Bearcat . I'm afraid I just can't work up any enthusiasm for the little fella though, Sorry Eric.

Edit. The lot will be minus the kits given to above chaps for charity.

Eric, I love your passion for aircraft, so the Bearcat will be winging it's way to Farnborough sometime soon.

Dr gn, the Mustang seems to be 100%. You will be able to check and report back when it arrives on your doorstep. smile

Unfortunately they have gone as I was offered as fair price for the remainder of the kits over the weekend.

However there will be more in the loft for sure. As soon as I have the time I will sort something out and forward it on.

Thanks again to all who have donated to various charities. clap
