Look out for cool new toy. It is called a j car. It is a helicopter and a car. Maybe a bit too much of a toy. Around £40

I think it looks like fun but not very ph
it looks fun...yeah I agree but not the sort of thing you'd want to be seen playing with a it like a fat lass or a moped I'm soooo out of my depth with 6ch...I think my Ebay account should be linked to a USB Breathalyser lol

one of these

I feel I may have bitten off more than I can chew
edit to add....yep I did bite off more than I could chew but had the sense to realize before I even opened the packaging...returned it to the store and have ordered something more suitable for a complete heli newbie
moral of story..don't drink and ebay

Would you like to borrow a blade mcr so you can practise?
Weighs nothing, indoor only but dead easy and will give you the knack or orientation?
Happy to post with radio gear batteries and the like if it's of interest??
thank you for the kind offer Weighs nothing, indoor only but dead easy and will give you the knack or orientation?

I ordered a Training gear set for it aswell...from what I've seen on youtube I think/hope I'll be alright with it
I know the theory of helicopter flight from PC flight sims.
I might well take you up on the offer, I'll see how I get on

this is not going to end well
Check out RADD's School of Rotary Flight . It's a REALLY good guide for beginners, I wish I'd stumbled across it before I could fly!BTW, if you get 'bitten by the bug' and start to learn 3d maneuvers, I can't stress how much money a decent simulator (RealFlight, Phoenix, Reflex, et al) will save you in the long run.

I have saved to bookmarks and will be reading through

I would be quite suprised if you even get it airborne before you have your first crash
