The spaces from which I took the picture are extra wide too, with nowhere for anyone to leave a trolley close to you either...I never park anywhere else, having once found a trolley blown across the car park right into my rear bumper
Maybe it's just me, but parking a yellow 355 with gay abandon in the Tesco car park is just a bit cool. crazy about cars said:
Technically not spotted in Northants :P
Any further story behind the (gorgeous) spot?
Silverstone (the village, and a good chunk of the circuit) is in Northants, I think you'll find. And the pub was definitely in Northants too.Any further story behind the (gorgeous) spot?
Not much of a story really. We were having dinner. Suzi walked in (with BBC entourage) and sat at the table next to us. She instantly recognised me and asked for a photo. Or something like that...

I stand corrected I spend most time around Northampton so that became my "Northants" :PNot much of a story really. We were having dinner. Suzi walked in (with BBC entourage) and sat at the table next to us. She instantly recognised me and asked for a photo. Or something like that...
Nice pic!
Shte day for commuting, great day for spotting... First was greeted by an absolutely immaculate looking red Lancia Delta Integrale (H plate sticker on the bonnet) in Dadford, then a little further pulling out of the Silverstone camping carpark an absolutely immaculate looking beige/brown/gold (one of those anyway ) BMW 635csl (A plate) (I absolutely adore those off-centre twin pipes!) and as the cherry on top spotted on the A43 a bright green Lancia Stratos (or Hawk?) !

Itching for a drive but already had a few beers so probably be tomorrow then... can anyone recommend a good route near Northampton ?
there are loads - ditch your Satnav look at a road atlas or map of the county instead, avoid the green trunk roads look at the minor A, B and unclassified roads, ditch the electronics and use your eyes there are so many roads you could go onGassing Station | Northamptonshire | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
