Slight exhaust blow?
Why would that cause the brake lights to stick? By the way I went to use my 21 mm socket the other day to discover that you still hold it hostage, what do I have to do to secure its release?

Don't think the zorst is leaking after all.
I finally got around to pulling apart the original engine from the Rover.
I don't really have any experience of examining and assessing the bottom end of an engine but by the look of the shells it was probably just as well that I went for a recon unit rather than just doing the head gaskets and cam.
Some pics:
All the time I was pulling the engine apart I kept hearing complimentary things about me being whispered. Then I realised why. It was the Kroil in the orange can on the bench.
Just need Ben to come and have a look and do an assessment (for the fun of it) and then the engine will be cleaned and become a coffee table.
Anyone know where I can get the Block & pistone chemically cleaned?
ETA - The rusty pistons are due to the fact that the engine has stood outside for the last 2 years.
