Slow drivers like me and not so fast cars like the Midget to the front please and road rippers to the rear if a paper suggested route is not available

If we have a Google plotted suggested route I'll copy it to paper instructions because that's what we're used to and Mrs Beer enjoys navigating, if I was by myself then I'd borrow a SatNav (that works off it's own batteries as the Midget lacks cigar lighter or outlet sockets)

BTW Spokey gave my wife her PH name and I shall remind her of this on the day smile

If people have TomToms, please let me have your email addresses and I'll send you the ITN when it's finalised. I generally provide a couple and decide at the last minute which one I want.

I'm a bit worried that people think this is going to be a hoon ... it's just going to be a nice gentle bimble.paperbag

Showoff

We've got 44 bhp at the wheels so with us both on board that makes 22bhp/ton, I can get the full power down

Nothing wrong with a bimble especially on interesting roads in an interesting car

I have no problem following the midget or any of the other slightly slower cars, Its about being with like minded peaple and having some fun for a couple of hours not breaking every speed limit out there, Thats not to say i wont be having the odd moment though, I am looking forward to it lets hope the sunshines,

Yes looking forward to seeing your car and as you say looking at the differances between the two in looks and perforamnce, Is yours a manual or auto, Mines a auto as you probably know all 55's are auto's but its a great box and really suits the car and its got the paddels as well when your in the mood for giving it the beans,

Has everyone who wants the ITN files sent me an email? Anyone who wants general directions for manual navigation, can you email me as well?

ETA: As far as I know, I've had emails from CarZee, tom-p and 300bhp/ton.

Sorry folks, because I don't have anyone to lead a wing on this one, I'm going to have to close the cruise to new entries now.

Can I ask people who haven't answered the questions about lunch and part two to please do so by close of business on Monday? If I don't hear from you, I'm going to assume you don't want lunch and you're not coming on part two.

Can I also ask people to reconfirm that you are coming, please?

Hi Spokey, Thanks for the link, I'll be there on Sunday, just waiting for the wife to make up her mind, but it might be too early a start for her. I have TT, prob will stay for lunch and Part 2.

plenty, thanks, that's going to help a lot! biggrin

Actually, that's a HUGE relief. I don't like wings to be longer than 6 cars, so this just squeaks it in. Whew!

Actually, I wonder if I could be cheeky and ask if SB might feel like leading a wing of those who fancy travelling at a more (ahem!) stately pace?

Yes but I expect the faster cars will still get in our way tongue out

The suggested route will be new to us on the day but we've done a few runs in our time and don't put in too many of our own diversions and as it's a pubs we stop at we WILL get there

Parts 1 & 2, no lunch thanks
