Does it not get boring? Either come here and post insight or come back just after the US Open when the the slams are over. If he hasn't done the job, £20 will be on the way over. If he does do the job, keep the £20 and do a very un-British thing and start a positive thread on our dedicated sportsmen going out there and giving it their all.
+1This thread is all about Murray's shortcomings...hence the name of it. Do you see? Thats why I started it.
As for the "does it not get boring" comment well no more boring than your constant posts about how much you've won from the bookies and other off-topic stuff you decide to post on this thread.
Why don't you start a General Tennis thread?
Oh...and its called banter...and as Murray is performing exactly as this thread predicted 3 years ago I reckon you can stand a little mild rib-poking.

With Nadal out did the draw just open up for the sour scottish git to walk straight through to the final?
You're not coming across as very positive yourself Fella! Bigoted even.....ViperPict said:

Anybody else think this is just like watching Henman?
No? Just me then.
No as it's the Wimbledon final! No? Just me then.
After the first set I thought I'd be swelling Justices' coffers come 6pm.
Good old Rog to the rescue
Shame, his all-round 'game' has improved during this tournament
Still, they don't hand out Grand Slam trophies for 'improvements'.
1 more to go Justices...to be honest I thought you had me there for a short while

For once I don't think Murray really bottled it today. He played well albeit missing a couple of key shots and not making Fed run as much as he might.
Beaten by the better man though, Fed was immaculate.
Agreed. For once it wasn't an internal Murray issue that sabotaged him...he just ran into a great player having his usual 'good day at the office'.Beaten by the better man though, Fed was immaculate.
But f you can't win a slam at home with the crowd willing you on I just can't see where he'll ever win a slam so long as that top 3 are playing.

Did the famous "bet" include an Olympic title?
Sadly no. A slam is a different beast, so the bet still stands for the final major of the year. I now have 32 thousand coins to collect from the man who laughed in my face at 4am last night when I placed this bet I'd rather Andy did it this way, Olympic gold, at home, at Wimbledon in front of a roaring crowd. The slams will follow
Gutted for Federer though, that would have been the dream finish for him.
ETA: Called the match and the final set to perfection
Still, our £20 bet pales into insignificance if you have seriously just won £32,000 betting on one tennis match and if thats true I salute you sir. Having said that, working on the basis that the bookies (ultimately) never lose, how much have you lost over the years with these incredible bets?

What I would like to see is IM eat his bloody hat, start a new thread titled "how many slams can Andy win?" and donate a crisp £20 note to charity. If it all goes as I hope, I'll ask Andy just which charity when I see him in China
That thread you want me to start...
Never. Gonna. Happen.
Get yourself down to a cash point and practice entering yer pin code and selecting £20 from the options fella.
