So it comes down to one final game.

3 years ago I started this thread and predicted that Murray wouldn't win a GS event for at least 3 years or in the next 12 GS tournaments.

Some disagreed and a couple had a bet with me.

Well tomorrow that bet expires and I have to say that frankly even if he does win tomorrow I feel that it was worth the bet. For 11 GS's I've had bragging rights at the end of each one...well worth £20 of anyones cash.

Good luck Justices.

C'mon Jokervitch, kick some sorry scottish butt one last time.

But, whatever happens, Murray is an a different league to what Henman was.
Agreed.

My point (back then) was that in GS terms, he was and would continue to ultimately be, a loser....just like Tim.

I kinda want him to win one though, just not this one biggrin

Unbeknownst to Andy, all of this is meaningless because there's a monumental £20 wager that trumps all of the above biggrin As much as I'd love for this to go to 5 breathless sets.. I am calling it as follows..

64, 63, 67, 64 - Murray
Glad you've got a proper perspective on it fella.

64, 67, 46, 62, ??

Monday night?

Still though.
I could understand it if the empty seats were up in the gods but there are a lot down the front!

Djoko's looking very vulnerable, can't see him winning this.

As has been pointed out, the bet was he wouldn't win a GS in the next 3 years.

It's been 3 years 2 days. Cough up.

Don't be ridiculous. laugh

The law of averages, which Murray succesfully bucked for the last 5 years, demanded he win one at some point. I've said so in this thread.

Now get a grip...its not like its something important like football.

Before you start another one you should pay what you owe on this one. I don't seem to have got an email asking what charity I would like your money to go to. Shall I post it on here for you?
I said 2 years...do you need the link?

Oh this is gonna be interesting...yes
Not sure if we are allowed to use PH as a gambling format so perhaps we should confirm by email so PM me. Would suggest a GS in the next 3 years and for a few hundred to make the wait worthwhile! Mind you should be all done by dusted by Jan next year at Melbourne. biggrin
Nah - not 3 years...crikey, even I'll win one in that time frame...2 years for £100 to the charity of my/your choice?
So...shall I PM you details of The Heart Foundation?

And that was on the 9th September...todays the 11th.

The 11th Sept bet concerned me winning at Smash Court Tennis on the PlayStation (page 2).

Cough Up Greenie. biggrin

I had thought their might be issues re. the 'spent' clause...
In Greenies case I don't need to fall back on that. I agreed to 2 years. 3 years if you include me playing on the playstation.

OK...can I include Smash Court Tennis on the PS3 where I'm a world beater...?
