No way that Moeen can get a century here, the Aussie bowling attack is far too strong.

You think?

Talk on Sky of the pitch cracking and pitting already, plus I think their bowling has been pretty average.

500 maybe, but I don't think anything more than that

Ah, well that failed.

Nevermind - good momentum for when we open up the bowling

Aus might push the score to 450 on the extras and gimmes they are providing alone!

430. Very good effort liking the positive play. Think this series might be close now when we had clueless Pete in charge was nailed on Aus victory for me.

All out for 430.

Let's bowl properly, pitch it up. Pointless trying to dig them in on this featherbed. TMS saying the pitch is behaving well today with a little bit of shape in the air.

The ineptitude of the ECB to bring him back was a shocking decision.

I'm sure Sophia Gardens is lovely. So England should play NZ, India, WI, Pakistan, South Africa there. Ashes test should be played at grounds with Ashes history.

The great names and great Ashes matches played at Headingley over the decades is worth more than whatever money Glamorgan pay the ECB.

It is typical that those with custody of the game piss all over it for money.

Back to the cricket - I am on holiday so cannot see any coverage. Is the wicket really as dead as people are saying? New ball bouncing before reaching the keeper?

That's good for the game... rolleyes

It's starting to look ominous (come on the mockers!)

Yeah 127-1 would certainly suggest HR is going to be more correct than me frown
