Did Butler just drop Rogers, off Wood?

Atherton and Hussain didn't pick up on it.

Unbelievable.

I've been watching 95% of today's game and missed all our 3 wickets.

I guess it doesn't matter so much now but I'm surprised neither of the commentators picked up on it.

Nice dismissal by Ali, well taken caught and bowled.

The walking wicket is now in.

They are nailed ON for 700 here, lots of batting to come, Boycs reckons the wicket is a puddin'

the day ends with the crims 192 behind with four down. Sunday is potentially a washout, so probably a dull draw on a dull pitch. Not a great way to start one of sports great contests, but I'm sure that Glamorgan will be happy.

...and before I post again I'll make sure not to mistake a text section on the BBC starting close to mean close of play, rather than close to being out. Play continues, though I'm still convinced we're heading for a draw.

Aussies deserve to lose heavily if they get out to a part time spinner like Ali. England have this in the bag with Australia batting second.

England winning a test will liven the series up a bit.

I'm lucky if I get access to PH let alone streaming videos! It's not brilliant out here in terms of infrastructure.

I thought the england bowlers were excellent for the last hour. Kept things tight and forced the 5th wicket through frustration.

England ahead by a snout.

I appear to be 'working' from home again tomorrow, so cricket on iPad, sat in deck chair next to the carp lake, with a beer. smile
