Burgess got lucky there.
Farrell copped it on his behalf by the looks of it.

Shocking decision.

Blocking the player, and he used for more arms than was used on Brown earlier in the breakdown in the corner.

By no means an excuse but just a question; I assume there's no seeding in these groups? Seems that in every other group the "big teams" have all got relatively easy groups yet Australia, Wales & England all got lumped together. Seems odd...

The officials seems to be keen to penalise England and ignore the Aussie infringements..

Agree.

Those saying harsh need to realise what Burgess did. Massive bloke flying through the air taking someone by the throat. I wouldn't want to be subjected to that.

How long before Lancaster is gone... How long til Robshaw is gone? (I don't blame Robshaw, but he was Lancasters man... And we need a big change).

Australia have played well and we haven't, I didn't expect their scrum to be as good as it has been or ours to be as poor. We need to adapt to referees better.

It was seeded and when the draw was made AGES ago I think it was Wales who had dropped down to an unusually low position.

Must admit I'm a lot more nervous than I was 2 months ago. Aus have found a Pack whilst England have lost theirs. Wales have tried to injure and impload themselves.

The Aussies must be grinning away to themselves and I think the Boks are too! Let's be honest, how many ppl have looked at that potential and fairly likely match of NZ v France in the quarters and laughed? You sure as hell know the Boks have! They don't fear or respect anyone in the NH and in the direction they can see Aus in real danger.
Well looks like I was right to be worried. I knew that Aus Pack looked a lot lot better than it has previously!

In hindsight an absolute masterplan from Gatland and the WRU.
