Mayweather is too good for Hatton and it has all the makings of a really boring fight. Hatton will spend most of the time trying to hold Mayweather whilst Mayweather dances around the ring picking Hatton off for 12 rounds. Mayweather will win on points easily.
Wrong wrong wrong!

Hatton is too clever, Billy Graham is too clever, Kerry is too clever! The team behind Hatton know him so well and work on opponents so well that what you've written is exactly whats expected.

Trust me. Hatton will work on cutting the ring, moving PBF to the ropes, getting in the digs and only risk holding if he's done the job on the way in. PBF fights on the outside, uses speed and pitter patter punches from all over the shop.

I'm biased, but I'd honestly put Hatton up there as one of the best p4p in the world. 12 rounds possible, boring never, PBF in the bag not a chance.

If this is signed I'm there!!
Vette, as much as I'd like to think you're right, I can't help but think it's Mayweather's more natural weight and speed that will cause the problems. I just can't see RH getting one over pretty boy. But, and it's a big but, if RH kept himself in tip top condition from now until a fight, gradually putting on the weight, there's a much greater chance of an upset. However, I can't see him staying off the Guinness biggrin

Taking on the best p4p boxer (not fighter) is always going to be tough. The problems with Hattons last move to welter was that he only had a few weeks prep for the new weight. As you say, if he's got 12 weeks I'm sure Kerry will bulk him up good and proper in the right areas.

There's nothing to say that the fight will be at welter yet. PBF seems hacked off with Ricky that he might agree to light welter. The saving for flights starts now....

Well lads, looks very much like this PBF v RH will go ahead

Rubbing my hands together.

Still can't see RH doing it, but would love to have a chat with him personally to see what his thoughts are..

Yep, looks all set (not signed yet) for Dec 8th in Vegas at either MGM Grand or Mandalay Bay. Bit of a shame as tickets will be harder to get hold of but they'll be around somewhere. It's up at welterweight and there's no titles on the line except the 'Ring' belt I guess.

If I can get tickets, I'm going!

All signed up and ready to go

Fight not until Dec, so I hope Ricky starts training asap, as he's been spotted recently doing what he does 2nd best.

The girl is the sister of a mate of mine

Really love Ricky, nice bloke, no up his own arse, a genuinely decent guy, realy really wish him all the luck in the world, and want to mention one other thing...you make your own luck Ricky, get started now.

Edited as the photos are hosted on a personal site oops! sorry

They basically show RH having a good time, nothing out of the ordinary, just a pint and a laugh, as we all do.

I will definitely be watching but I'm sticking to my prediction that PBF will win this on points by a big margin.

I'm with you on a PBF win, hopefully it'll go the distance though

Got flights on hold from Manchester to Vegas. Booking those tomorrow, then sorting a nice cheap hotel room, then its the hunt for tickets! I'm sure we'll get a seat somewhere and then sit back and enjoy watching Ricky open up a can of whoop-ass on PBF.

I stand by my prediction of pressure pressure pressure and a victory from Ricky.

Having heard Ricky's father on the radio this morning the venue isn't a dead cert yet apparently Los Angeles could also be in the offing as a fight location.

I'm really looking forward to this one, should be a cracker.
