His description of Dimension Data reminded me of the way Christian VdV, Millar and Zabriske talked about Slipstream, good friends, no pressure, opportunistic racing and a team mentality. Pleased for Cummings, that was an awesome ride!

Brilliant win by Cummings. On days like that, it looks like he could do well on GC. I know the 'favourites' weren't attacking, but he blew Nibali away.

Nibali will probably do a solo win one day too. Seems to sway with his form. Unless the Giro has tired him out.

I was thinking that too. There seemed to be a really nasty attitude at Etixx last year - I fear/expect there still is actually - that was obviously really amazingly terrible for Cav. Dimension Data seem to be the perfect opposite - there's no 'win at any cost' mentality, the staff seem to care about the riders, not just about their palmares. Not a surprise that Cav and Cummings are thriving there, along with Teklehaimanot et al. Long may it continue - kinder teams all round.

I could watch stages like this every day of the year. Incredible back drop the scenery is breathtaking the drama and the intrigue is just wonderful and now we get to see the TDF really explode. Come on Yates lets see you in Yellow tonight

love seeing Greg Lemond in the TDF again after Armstrong tried to destroy him for telling the truth 1989 was one of the great moments not just in cycling but in sport what a come back from near death to TDF champion sounds like a familiar story doesn't it Lance
