UFC on FX 7 is on the 19th.
Bisping vs Belfort.
I think this is a great fight, really tough to call, Belfort has been one of my favourites ever since he blitzed everyone including Wand when he joined the UFC as 19 year old and I kind of like Bisping because he's tenacious, well rounded and always wants to fight the best. god knows who'll winBisping vs Belfort.
I'm looking forward to the fight also. I'm a big Bisping fan, so will be on tenderhooks for the fight. Hopefully Bisping can stay away from the big haymakers in the 1st round and then tire Belfort out and take a TKO in 3rd.
It will be a 1st round KO to Belfort or 3rd round TKO to Bisping IMO. Hopefully the later.

Tim / Davey, i agree if Bisping wants to win he needs to make sure there is lots of clinch work, takedowns etc and make it a fast paced fight. Belfort has serious power in both hands but most of that comes from his speed which will diminish greatly as time wears on. If Bisping stops him it will be late on but his most likely route to winning is taking a decision. he can then go on to get KO'd by Silva

It was much like the Hendo fight.. he had a warning about the head kick in the 1st. Its probably a good job he won't be fighting Anderson really.
I wasn't much impressed by Bisping overall until the last few (or odd) fights but to be fair, given the level of threat Belfort posed, esp. in the early rounds when fresh, I thought he did really well defensively apart from getting caught just a couple of times. He seemed to control the distance and direction of turn quite well, moved his head better than he often has (both side to side as well as front to back) to avoid punches and stepped in and out with the jab quite authoritatively. All the while I was nervously waiting for that sudden explosion of fury thinking when it comes can he survive? I was expecting a sudden, powerful rush and a flurry of punces not the measured approach or the head kick.
I always wonder how, given the distance required and skill needed, so many head kicks do land and wouldn't risk doing it myself for fear of missing/getting off balance, but the good guys must have something very special to get through even a tight, pro defence with them. True Bisping had the early warning but, apart from maybe leaving his hand down momentarily, I think it was just one of those things and guys do get caught.
Despite being a late convert to appreciating him I don't think it means either that the loss was inevitable - if he'd have missed that who knows if he would have continued to control the fight and pick Belfort off - or that his time near the top is over.

I wondered if you could get it ppv on the UFC web site - probably by selecting out of the default UK one to the USA site? - but can't work out how. But did find that you can watch episodes of previous series here:
