just caught this......rocky fielding open workout.....AGGRESSIVE!!!!! .....JESUS CHRIST HE'S LOOKING SHARP,FAST AND HARD ON THOSE PADS!!.

looks like a fair bit of work has gone into blocking smith's body shots up on the ropes before letting the hooks and uppercuts go...

I'm edging towards Fielding at the moment. It's going to be a great fight though, shame I'll miss it (wife has organised a night out with my mates and their wives....).

Yep, it's being reported that Khan has signed to fight Pacquiao; however, at this stage it doesn't look like Manny has, at least not yet. That may just be a formality, but having been through this with Mayweather, Khan has kept a fall-back plan in place with a provisional alternative fight date in January, so not quite over the line. But for Khan's sake, I really hope the deal does get concluded successfully...

ETA - just read that Bob Arum apparently has likened the Khan-Pacquiao story to the stuff that comes out of boy cows' bottoms!

Chisora fight was really dull. Wouldn't surprise me to see him cashing in his chips shortly by fighting AJ, then calling it quits...
Just seen that Frank Warren has severed ties with Chisora. After the display at Wembley, it doesn't really surprise me. It also makes it easier for a fight with Joshua to be made...but not sure if there is any particular interest in that now, either from the Joshua camp, from Chisora himself (given the general level of disinterest he showed last time out) or indeed the paying public. We'll see...

Ohhh I don't know; he still looked quite feisty around the Klitschko contest, both before:

...during (dirty bd)...

...and after!

Yeah I agree. I think the rematch will happen - it has to.

The hype has already started imho

Why would Manny want to fight Khan? He's a wormshagger who has not earned the right to fight him. Every time Khan opens his trap its clear he's just chasing the big time payday. He needs to go back and face Garcia and Brook and beat them convincingly.

The thing he doesn't seem able to see is that a Khan-Brook fight would do him the world of good.

I've never rated Khan. He's got fast hands; that's about it. He's not and never will be a world class fighter; just some gobby tosser from Bolton.

Can I ask; do you know Amir Khan personally? If not, why the personal insults...? Also, you only ever seem to post this kind of vitriol on here about Amir Khan...why him and him alone?

Sky+ job for me...hoping to catch up on it over the weekend! Actually with that, Smith/Fielding, Bradley/Rios and Lomachenko fights all on over the weekend, I'm probably going to be doing little else!

Yeah, fair comments. No need for me to have written the nasty stuff. I was wrong on that front.

In all honesty, it just irritates me the way he tries to play the big time boxer. Ive watched most of his fights; especially his early ones when he looked if he was to blossom into a british great.

I personally feel he's been nursed through most of his fights in terms of selection and has never yet put on a 'real deal' display for me. Anyone of any substance and he's been mediocre.

Now, thats fair enough as he's a better boxer than I am, but for some reason he just irritates me with his bullst talk and the way he's comparing himself with the real deal boxers, moaning that they are ducking him. I just wish he'd take another fight and prove he has got what it takes.

Do yourself a favour and go and re-watch the Khan vs. Madina fight. Lots of heart, two evenly matched boxers and a proper tear up. He looked a little out of sorts when he lost to Garcia (even though he dominated early on) and got demolished by a few punches that would have ended anyone in that division (and possibly a few higher).

Is he the same level as Mayweather or a Pacman of old? Probably not in my opinion but the form guide suggests that he is at least worthy of a shot at the two and has the speed and power to give both problems at some point within the 12 rounds. Alas he doesn't posses the best boxing brain at times which is where he has been found out but that is getting better with experience and training under Virgil.

I think we'd all love to see Khan vs. Brook and I agree they both need each other with the winner going on to challenge for higher honors. Unfortunately they both see it as a high risk fight because for the looser it'll be a set back and recovery for at least a few years before another big pay day unless there is a re-match. Pure speculation of course but that's how I see it happening.

Anyway it looks like Pacman's camp have denied any knowledge of signing a contract with Khan.

It really does boil my p*ss the way that all the contract signing and negotiation takes place. Clearly Pacman vs. Mayweather 2 is going to be a major factor in stalling any agreement.
