Let's be honest, how many ppl have looked at that potential and fairly likely match of NZ v France in the quarters and laughed?
Not NZ I can tell you. How many times have the French beaten them...? Enough..
That was my point - everyone knows France are the Kiwi bogey team! Its a 50/50 game at best for the ABs and many will be waiting for France to win!

Other than the official site, is anyone aware of places that sell tickets to some of the sold out games?
stubhub have loads for sale, what game(s) are you after, some aren't that expensive, bearing in mind that for some games even Cat D tickets were really expensive in the first place, my pair for Eng v Aus were £160 (cat c) each and for NZ v Arg £85

Disappointed they are not using Gilbert rugby balls this time
not fking kidding it's NSFW clicked on the link to be met with a screen-full of gash.... I'm not complaining by the way it was way more entertaining than watching the Eng/Fra match a couple of weeks back!!

Not really RWC news, but Jonathan Thomas retired from rugby today:

Diagnosed with epilepsy, thought to be related to multiple head injuries received over the last few years.

Makes you think frown

Starting to look forward to this now I have to say. Not sure we (Ireland) are in such good shape as we might have hoped 8/9 months ago but the draw has been pretty favourable to us. Handy start for England too, I assume you'll put 40/50 points on Fiji ?? Not sure that'd be the best thing though as it will only add to the pressure.

I'd be chuffed with that winning margin over Fiji but while we should win I doubt it will be by that kind of score. I expect it might be reasonably close at half time then we'll pull away in the second half. If we keep it tight and disiplined we should be too much for them. We also have a handy back line.

I don't know what to expect from Ireland. They didn't see particularly arsed against England probably not wanting to get injured. Is the french game last? Is so they've plenty of time to into form.

Just realised the scoring system is the same as club rugby ie bonus points for 4 tries or within 7. Should make things interesting.

Ireland v France is the last game in the pool. On form the looser plays NZ and the winner gets Argentina. It would be really amusing if Argentina turn over the All Blacks and the winner of Ireland V France has to play a really pissed off All Blacks!!! Watch as neither team wants to win!
